A while ago, scrolling on Instagram I stumbled upon a very nice account called @matchymatchysewingclub because I was hunting new patterns for tops. Somehow these days in stores, we have a wide selection of t-shirts or shirts to choose from but no blouses and I am sick of searching, so I decided to use some of my spare time to sew some.

I bought the pattern and printed it, puzzle it and cut it into my fabric without thinking too much. The fabric I used is a very thin cotton bought from Self Made last year and perfect for summer because of its print and its flowy texture.
I used a size “L” for this one because I wanted something oversized, I prefer to wear larger clothes they make me feel comfortable and that’s all I want in my life.

The pattern is very easy to sew, the measurements are accurate and the fit is exactly what you expect from a boxy cut. It was so fun to make that I did another one. I think I will have to make it for a third time because I want to experiment with patchwork and I have many pieces of fabrics that are too small for an entire new project.
