Written by Ever since I discovered the Collage Gather Top from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club, I’ve created two pieces for my wardrobe, but my latest creation consists of a matching set. I’ve become obsessed with matching sets because they are incredibly easy to wear. Dressing in pajamas regularly brings me comfort, and making fewer decisions in a day feels like pure perfection.
The Loungewear set pattern from Peppermint Magazine is my all-time favorite. I’ve made so many trousers that my wardrobe now consists of 80% pants in various lengths and patterns.
Initially, I bought the fabric for a regular pair of pajamas, the kind you wear for sleeping. However, upon noticing the wonderful texture of the fabric, I decided to make trousers instead. With the leftover fabric, I also created a matching top. I had initially planned for long sleeves, but I was limited to having only 2 meters of fabric, which was a bit disappointing.
