Last year, I made myself three identical pajamas using the Noa pattern, which I elongated by 20 cm to transform into a dress.

This year, I found out that three of the same pajamas were not enough. Typically, I take a clean one whenever I have a good bath and wash my hair, which is every 2 or 3 days. When I just have a simple shower, I don’t mind wearing the same clothes two nights in a row.

I guess the laundry is the issue, so I had to do something. Doing laundry more often is not an option, so sewing more was the only way.

I planned to make the same item five times because I had never worn anything more comfortable for a good night’s sleep in my life.

The fabric I chose is a duvet cover that has an interesting pattern. On one side is a beautiful floral pattern, while on the other side is almost like a gingham, but the most interesting thing is that both sides are printed with the same color palette.

I puzzled the pattern in such a way that, in the end, I had only a few scraps, and the pajamas were identical, but at the same time, they were not.

I’ve always been fascinated by what a huge impact a color palette or a print can make and how different a piece of clothing can feel because of that.

This is something that I’ve yet to master, and many times it sets me back. I am afraid of trying because I fear failure and such situations trigger my trauma. But deep down, I know that I will do it because it has happened before with many other things.

Now I can report that the magic number of pajamas is seven. I know that it looks like I can’t count properly, but trust me, it’s a long story.
